Any combination of exercise clothing that will allow the instructor to see the dancer's body movements. Specific class attire is provided via automatic email, but some are provided here:

• BALLET -- Leotard, tights, and ballet slippers. Typically, pink tights, black leotard, and pink (or skin-colored) ballet slippers. Skirts and sweaters may be worn.
• 4-6 YR OLD BALLET/TAP COMBO - Same as Ballet above but Tap shoes must also be purchased.
• CREATIVE MOVEMENT - Anything comfortable. Typically, parents purchase leotard/skirt combo with tights for girls and ballet slippers. Girls wear pink ballet slippers; boys wear black. NO COLOR REQUIREMENT FOR ATTIRE.
• MODERN -- Any combo of leotard, tights, leggings, camis, tank tops, shorts. Shoes can be Foot Thongs, Foot Undeez, Foot Paws, Turners, or Elasto Splits. NO COLOR REQUIREMENT FOR ATTIRE.
• JAZZ -- Leggings with cami/tank top and t-shirt combo. Can also wear leotard with leggings. Jazz shoes. NO COLOR REQUIREMENT FOR ATTIRE.
• HIP-HOP - Leggings with cami/tank top and t-shirt combo. Can also wear sweat pants or shirt or hoodies. No midriffs showing. Black Jazz shoes can be worn. NO COLOR REQUIREMENT FOR ATTIRE.
• IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL GUIDANCE: Basketball or Running Shorts are NOT considered Dance Attire--SO DO NOT WEAR THEM. Cheer Shorts are OK. Anytime shorts are worn, tights must be as well. No hoop/dangling earrings; No gum chewing; Hair away from face.

WAL-MART & Target sell basic dance attire for young dancers (tights, leotard, and leggings). Basic Ballet slippers, Tap and Jazz shoes can be purchased from there, along with AMAZON. Specific shoes (Jazz or Modern) should be purchased from local dance boutique:

Yes, you may. Seating is right where classes are held. We believe that you as parents/guardians should see what is being instructed to give you the opportunity to rehearse with your dancer at home. But if it becomes a distraction, we reserve the right to ask that you wait outside or in your car.

Yes! We schedule two recitals each season: a Winter show (December) and an end-of-season recital (mid-June). All classes perform in this recital (the adult classes will decide as a group if they wish to perform). Additional performances throughout the season are accomplished as they become available.

We may need to cancel class (for weather or schedule conflicts). If that occurs, we will make every attempt to reschedule the class. But if re-scheduling does not permit, then a class credit will be placed in your account.
